Explorer Camp
A Camp Built for Every Ability
Camp Able offers a 4-day summer camp across two weekends in June, run as two separate sessions. Camp is designed for our participants and their immediate family, with at least one parent required to accompany them for the full duration. This camp is built for individuals with special needs who may otherwise not have the opportunity to attend an overnight summer camp. During these four days, participants are paired with an OT graduate student from ACU.

Lottery Registration
A lottery registration opens January 1 and closes in March. To be considered for the lottery, all paperwork must be submitted. The lottery drawing takes place the first week of May, drawing up to 6 participants and 2 alternates per week. The number of participants each year depends on the number of OT students available.
If you're drawn as a participant: you're required to notify us of acceptance within one week of being drawn.
If you're drawn as an alternate: you'll be notified at the time of the drawing, and again if a spot opens up because a participant doesn't accept or doesn't show.
