Ready to Ride?

Getting started at Camp Able looks a little different depending on where you're coming from. Current riders have a streamlined process to secure their spot each semester, while new and waitlisted riders go through a rolling registration built around availability and best fit. Whichever path applies to you, our team is here to walk you through every step.

New Riders / Waitlisted Riders

Registration is rolling throughout the year. Our waitlist is based on availability and best fit, and all lessons are scheduled based on rider, instructor, horse, and volunteer fit. While on the waitlist, it's our goal to invite you to Camp Able special events as we see fit. New riders are not considered on the waitlist until all paperwork has been received.

  • Fill out all necessary paperwork and return it to Camp Able.

  • Once all paperwork has been received, Catherine will be in touch to schedule an evaluation.

Returning Riders

Returning Rider registration opens 10 days prior to everyone else in the fall semester, and 1 week prior in the spring semester.

  • Participants will receive an email from Camp Able that includes all necessary paperwork for a successful registration.

  • Complete the paperwork and return it to Camp Able. This must include a medical release form signed by a physician each fall semester, along with any other medical forms requested, such as a script to receive speech services, a seizure release, or a Down syndrome release.

  • Once we've received all the necessary paperwork, you'll be notified of your placement on the schedule. This means you'll be assigned a lesson spot, but it does not guarantee your preferred choice.
