Meet the Horses
Behind Camp Able

Every one of them was given a second chance, and every one of them shows up to give it back. Every one of them was given a second chance, and every one of them shows up to give it back.

The Heart of Camp Able’s Herd

Every horse at Camp Able earned their place here. Some came from ranch work, some from the show pen, and some simply needed a second chance, but all of them found their true calling the moment they met their first rider. Each one has their own personality and their own way of connecting with the person on their back, and that individuality is exactly what makes the magic of therapeutic riding possible. Our herd is chosen and trained not just for skill, but for temperament, patience, and heart, because the horse is every bit as important as the instructor guiding the session. Behind every "aha" moment a rider has in the saddle, there is a horse who made that moment feel safe enough to happen.
